Charissa Guan, Founder

Charissa is a marketing and communications specialist well-versed in the travel, lifestyle, food and drink, and hospitality spaces. She founded bSIDE in 2022 and led the agency to its award-winning status within 18 months, including for New Consultancy at PRCA APAC Awards 2024.

She has 13+ years of experience in integrated marketing communications, specialising in partnerships, public relations and crisis communications. Her clients run the gamut from tourism boards and Michelin-starred restaurants to cell-cultured meat start-ups and design-led hotels, propelling many to cult-favourite status, with award wins and commercial success.

Prior to founding bSIDE, she was in agency leadership roles managing campaigns and teams across Asia, and has spent time in-house with The Lo & Behold Group and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts (APAC). She’s also an active marketing industry leader and angel investor.

She believes that great stories can transform businesses and continues to find the thrill in connecting people and brands.

Teresa Koh, Senior Director

Teresa is an experienced marketing and communications leader with almost two decades of experience in the luxury hospitality and food and beverage fields, both in Singapore and China.

A strategic thinker and team leader, she works across the marketing spectrum with a particular passion for F&B, partnership, and digital marketing, including Chinese social media.

Teresa began her career with Garibaldi Group of Restaurants, one of Singapore’s pioneers of fine-dining; before spending six years with Intercontinental Hotels at its flagship Singapore property and leading the marketing taskforce for its award-winning Danang property. Prior to joining bSIDE, she hired the agency as the pre-opening Director of Marketing Communications at Pan Pacific Orchard.

Above all, Teresa is a problem solver and skilled writer, who effortlessly translates brands for their desired audiences, and likely spends her off-duty days nursing a crisp bottle of Chardonnay.
